Hostplus has announced the extension of its group insurance partnership with MetLife Australia until June 2028.
This continued collaboration aims to elevate service models across claims and underwriting, delivering stronger outcomes for Hostplus members.

Since the partnership's inception in 2013, MetLife has played a pivotal role in providing cost-effective group insurance to Hostplus members. The extension is set to further strengthen this collaboration, introducing innovative and enhanced offerings tailored to member needs.

Members are already experiencing benefits such as lower premiums, improved insurance terms, and a more personalised claims experience. Currently, Hostplus provides over 865,000 members with Death, Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD), and Income Protection insurance through this partnership.

Insurance within superannuation offers essential support during challenging times. Through this extended partnership, Hostplus and MetLife are committed to transforming the insurance service model, moving towards a more personalised and member-focused experience. This includes delivering greater value by providing insurance benefits at a lower cost and offering dedicated relationship management throughout the claims process.
