Money magazine has announced the winners of its 2026 Life Insurance Awards, recognising outstanding performers in the Australian life insurance sector.
TAL has been named Life Insurer of the Year across both group and direct insurance categories, while Acenda has secured the title of Life Insurer of the Year in the advised insurance category.

The awards span 27 categories, covering insurance products offered through superannuation (group), financial advisers (advised), and direct from insurers. TAL's impressive performance includes winning 12 awards, with seven in direct insurance and three in group insurance, notably Best-Value Insurance in Super for their partnership with Aware Super.

Other notable winners include NobleOak and Budget Direct, who jointly received the Best-Value Direct Life Insurance award, and Clearview, which was recognised for Best Life & TPD Insurance in the advised category.

These accolades underscore the importance of quality and affordable life insurance solutions for Australians. With a significant portion of the population underinsured, particularly those under 35, these awards highlight providers that are making strides in addressing this gap and offering valuable protection to consumers.
